Justin and Leigh will play selections from their upcoming silent film score accompanied by Esquina Tango dancers Monica Caivano and Gustavo Simplis live in the studio!
The new Montopolis project will adapt the traditional tango arrangements of maestro Glover Gill to a film score for the 1920 Western "The Toll Gate", reimagined by comedians Mac Blake and Carlos Larotta. We'll play some of that music as well as see two of the best tango dancers in Austin perform.
But wait, there's more!
We'll end the set with Ennio Morricone songs from our previous show "The Return of Draw Egan" with Andy, Jon, and Gray.
